How It Works

COMP Cams® Engine Builder Duel presented by Snap-On Tools, pits two teams of two in a head-to-head race to see who can completely assemble and run a Small Block Chevy engine in the shortest amount of time. Armed with nothing but their wits and a handful of supplied tools, the teams must run their completed engine for one full minute to be named the winner.

The Engine Builder Duel is a crowd favorite everywhere it's held. Because it is both entertaining and educational, the contest engages automotive enthusiasts and casual observers alike. Participants of every knowledge level have competed in the past, however teams with engine building experience are the ones who set the records.

How To Register

If you think you have what it takes to win, email enginebuilderduel@gmail.com with your name and your team member's name for a chance to compete. Since entries are limited, teams are encouraged to register in advance. However, registration will also be available at the event.
